F. A. Q.
Q1. Can we ask for our own Designs?
If you have a design idea of your own I will try to accommodate you and will advise you of the cost.
Q2. What if we want to change a colour of ribbon or want to add an embellishment?
With some of the invitations it is possible to alter the front slightly. However, the design fronts determine the price of the Invitations and some alterations or additions may effect that price. I will advise you if this is the case.
Q3. Can we have a discount for ordering 100 Invitations?
Discounts are not possible because every Invitation is handcrafted with the utmost care so it takes me 100 times longer to make 100 hundred cards than to make 1! I feel I offer excellent value for money - in addition I make no charge for preparing art work or sending out proofs.
So - I'm afraid I am not able to offer a discount!
Q4. How long will it take for my Invitations to be ready?
Depending on my workload and your timing it may be possible to complete your order in 2 to 3 weeks. I recommend that you send out your Invitations at least 3 months prior to the Wedding to give your guests plenty of notice so that they do not book holidays or such at this time. It also gives you plenty of time to receive valuable replies for catering numbers.
I supply Acceptance cards, or Acceptance postcards for your replies.
Q5. Shall I order Thank you cards after the Wedding?
It would probably serve you better to order all your Stationery together. That way you can write a few Thank you cards at a time when circumstances allow rather than having it 'hanging over your head'!
Q5. Do you supply 'Order of Service' leaflets?
Yes, but I don't write the words of some hymns due to the copyright laws. I print the Title, Author (where known)and the page number. The front Design, where possible, will mimic the Design of the Invitations.
A Hand embossed Order of Service costs £3 in white or £3.25 in cream
and it has 2 pages of print. (See foot of 'Wording' page)
A Roman Catholic Order of Service will be £4 since it contains 14 sides of printing
Ribbon and/or gems will be under discussion.
Wedding programmes also available. (See foot of 'Wording' page)
